 Itching
Hi everyone,
I have a 10 month old puppy and she itches so much around her nose that she lets out a cry when shes scratching, it just breaks my heart to see her hurting like that. I have switched her to lamb and rice food which seems to help. My question is, I have been putting Cortaid on the top of her mouth around her nose area twice a day and its almost stopped her itching completely. Does anyone know if this is going to hurt her in the long run? I don't want to put her on steroids that the doctor gave me because shes a toy and is not going to get any heavier than she currently is (3 lbs.) and he said it could really damage her little organs in the long term.
