1. What kind of shampoo do you use? I use cowboy magic...but there are really a lot of good ones out there. something hypoallergenic.

2. I am planning to have my baby sleep in my room and was going to pick up a baby pen like this one:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=8342858
From what Natalie tells me, he's going to be no more than 4 lbs. Will that play area suffice? How big of an area does he need? I know that people say their yorkie bite through the mesh but for this pen, it seem like the mesh doesn't start til a little bit higher so I thought he might not be able to get to it. The other option is to get an X-Pen but the smallest seems to be 6 panels which is too big for my room. Can they be sized down to maybe 4 panels?

I don't know a lot about x-pens but my friend uses a playpen like that and she has not had any problems. but every dog is different. i have had people say they use sprays and stuff that are made to deter dogs from chewing on things to keep them from messing up the mesh...but IMO their nails can do just as much damage as the teeth can. I honestly don't think there is any "perfect" solution as to where to keep the puppies...but you just kinda have to try things and see what works for your dog. I know...i'm not much help in this department...I have always crate trained LOL

3. What chew toys are good for the puppy? I love the toys that are made from "kong" material that have grooves to help soothe their teething needs. some people swear by "bully sticks" but i have never used them.

4. What kind of harness is adequate? If I wanted to purchase one before I picked him up, being 4 lbs, what size should I be looking for? I'm sure deb can get his measurements for you so you can find a harness you like locally...but there are some GREAT harnesses being sold here on YT. chattiesmom (cindy) sells some that are made of silk and they are fabulous. puppia makes a very nice harness as well!

Thanks for your help!
congrats on the pup you are soooo lucky so this is your first yorkie?? you are in for a real treat I will warn you tho...they are very addictive LOL

ok...I answered your questions and put them in red above
