I continuously check the Humane Society and the SPCA and I have never in ,3 yrs, heard of a Yorkie or other small breed being in need of adoption.
Same thing here You can check for years and not find a Yorkie.
Or a Maltese or a Shih Tzu or any other small breeds
And I am from Ohio that has some of the most Puppy Mills
(thanks to the amish)
Its just not going to happen.
So Its just unfair to say adopt a dog.
I'm sorry but if Im paying 500-1000 from a rescue and not knowing what more its going to cost me...What its temperment is or its health
I'm not doing it. Everyone deserves a good healhy puppy.
And not to be made to feel bad about it.
As much as we'd all love to....We cant save them all
Its sad...but its just the truth.
