It is nice when a rescue is privately funded, but most are not...I have had a number of rescues over the years. Some cost me almost nothing to rehome...others needed spaying/neutering/dental/vaccinations to the tune of $400 to $800 ..it would be much more in 2008!
Everyone wants a free Yore, I guess they think if you have to pay a good sum of money you are serious and won't return it if th slightest problem comes up. |
