What about some kind of trade or work-off to get your Yorkie? If this woman is having trouble keeping up you might be able to help her, get to know about the puppies and what kind of breeder she is, learn alot about the care they need, etc.
I know you can't always anticipate the cost of owning any dog, emergencies do happen. Check your budget and see if you could handle the normal expenses and try to save up a little for emergencies.
This is a good price if the dogs are healthy and well socialized. I know how you can yearn for a little guy.
