I mean, there are people out there that will, if they have that kind of money and a big heart for doing that kind of thing. But most people will say "shoot, for that much money, I can get a registered purebred puppy". Not all rescues are in it for the greater good, and are no different than a puppy mill.

While I would like to think that ALL rescues are in it for the love of animals.
It just isnt so...Its another Business to make $$
This poor gal tried to rehome her pup only to findit later FOR SALE!!
So its not just rescues....Its about the money
This was just a day or so ago....sad...http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=123870

And You're right...I dont have small kids.
But I would never have them around Hound Dog..
I almost know he'd bite them if cornered.
And kids try petting them You just dont know.....
