Does brownie do it out of aggression, or out of play? Either way, I think you can do other things on top of using the spray...

Maximus also got into nipping when he was 13 weeks old and my trainer at Petsmart taught me to yelp in a high pitch tone whenever he nipped me (even at play) and to walk away and ignore him for a few minutes. This is how puppies in a litter communicate to each other that someone has gone too far during play.

Also, when friends would come over and he'd start trying to nip, I immediately grab him, firmly say "no biting" and either turn him on his back until he calms down or put him in his crate. After doing all of the above for about 2 weeks (and being consistent every time!) , he really started to learn not to nip me. It's funny because sometimes in his excitement he doesn't think and is about to nip my hand, but then catches himself and turns his head to nip the air instead
