Are the canned white potatoes better than cooking from fresh? I am pleased you mentioned the Evangers. I was about to try it again. Since Sunday night, before her surgery, she has had almost nothing to eat that she actually keeps down. I have been waiting for Hubby to come home and go to the market for me, so just now I tried some Yoplait low fat banana yogurt, (it's what I had in the fridge). I'm not sure if this was the right thing to do, but I don't want to leave her, even for a few minutes to go to the store myself. So far so good. She has wretched a few times, but it is more just the motion; nothing actually came up. I will definitely try the potato idea later.
This is just so strange. I cannot believe that what should have been a simple, routine surgery could have caused this disaster with her. She is so unlike her usual "zoomy" little self. She follows me everywhere, when she is not sitting on my lap, and then just stands there, looking at me. Normally, she is prancing around, yapping at her toys to be thrown, Now she just turns around for me to pick her up. I am just so sad for her.
