Not that I would know the answer...but just a couple thoughts:
Could it be anything in the wall that is making some little scratching noises, spiders?
I think Yorkies do get a little OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) sometimes.
My Kizzie (RIP) actually had dementia and would stand and stare at the wall or in a corner. She would sometimes bark at the wall. But your yorkie looks pretty young to be having anything like this.
Keep posting, it will be interesting to see what it turns out to be.
