A bad hair cut may be an opinion. But giving specific instructions on how a dog should or should not be cut is either done right or its not. If you tell a groomer to only trim up the ends just a little bit, trim the feet, and don't trim in between the eyes...and then you get a dog back that has been shaved with its topknot cut off...well, it is a fact that the groomer did not follow directions. Dogs are property under the law, and when a groomer completely does something different than is asked to be done, that is basically destruction of property to me. It's not okay to go against the owners' requests...if there is confusion, call the owner! I just hate that so many groomers just can not follow directions...I will never trust a groomer with my dogs. Like I said, I won't allow my dog to be a groomer's mistake.
