I spoke to the Vet a while ago. She is still very groggy, but came through the surgery just fine.
The only thing I am wondering about is food. She has not eaten since last night, and he said she should have nothing for the rest of the day. This really concerns me, so I think I will ask him about some nutrical. I cannot imagine my poor baby not having ANY food until tomorrow morning??!!??
What do y'all think?
Have you fed them on the same day as the surgery? What is the usual rule of thumb here? I do not want to risk her vomiting, because Mango is a "vomiter" as it is. She is even prone to throwing up on a long car ride, which thankfully is not the case for today, as the vet is just up the road.
