Well, that didn't work! I'm so disappointed. First of all I was nervous about cutting Daisy's fur, which was all the way to the ground. The groomer did such a lousy job, I just don't even know what to say. The only saving grace is that she didn't cut much off, so I can either forget it and grow it out again or take her in for a shorter cut - to a different groomer.
The groomer nodded acknowlegement when I told her what I wanted, then didn't do half of it. And the parts that she did cut, are choppy. Like there was no attempt made to make anything even. I asked for her to leave the feet long, flared, she tappered them. She didn't cut the skirt anywhere near as short as I showed her, so now Daisy just looks like a puff ball with bitty legs at the bottom. I asked her to trim the belly short, she didn't. The first photo is Daisy after, and the second photo is one of several that I took in to show.
I know it's hard to see from the photos how choppy it is, but holding up the hair around the ears, face, and even the skirt is not level! Some pieces are shorter, some are longer. Clearly this person did not have a clue.
I do not want to take Daisy back there and ask for it to be fixed. Who knows what I'll get. It was a referral from a friend. So I'm looking for another place to do a modified puppy cut I guess. Or just even it out myself and let it grow back out. Seriously, I could have done a better job myself.
