I really depends on if the disease is bad in your area, or you live on a farm or by water and if your vet pressures you to get it.

Since my Yorkie went into shock and collapsed after vaccines and it was most probably this one, I would have to be pretty convinced that any future Yorkies of mine need it to give it.

And the vet will probably bring up that it can be transferred to humans but it seems that the dog can still carry the disease even with the vaccine (maybe one vaccine is better than another but I don't know).
