I'll think about it. That timing worked out best for everyone involved and I have read in multiple books that 8 weeks-12 weeks is standard. Will see. Not going to change the topic of the thread though. I'm really not a big fan of dictatorial regimes like the YTCA- if it were up to them only 10 people in the world would be breeding yorkies and half of them would be in bred...yes, this is from personal experience...my first yorkie died because my "YTCA approved/AKC champion" breeder couldn't stop herself from selectively breeding her dogs, who happened to be cousins. So...yeah I don't really respect that much. Sorry, on a bit of a rant...I don't listen to the YTCA or the AKC- I listen to the books in the bookstore. And my breeder- whose Yorkies are healthy.
