I PM'd Admin about a separate section for "Intro's" and they think it is better for newbies to post in the General Discussion section. But they like the idea of the Welcoming Committee and want me to let them know what we plan on doing.

I want to send out PM's (to everyone who wants to help) of a list of the newest members 2 times a week. If everyone can pick a few people to reach out and send a little PM to say hi and offer help using YT, it would help. I already have 1 newbie PM'ing me and I am helping her with where to post certain things.

We also need to make it our goal (for each time/day you're on YT) to find 5 no or low repsonse threads that have been pushed back. Just a simple "Bumping this up for you!" post will do. I know a few us have already started this and I've seen each thread I bumped finally be answered. If we each do 5 of these each day, it will really help!

Any more ideas you have, feel free to PM them! I also added YT Welcoming Committee to my siggy, so if you all want to do that as well, go for it!
