So I'm the nervous Mom who's never cut her baby's hair. In this case, my Yorkie, Daisy, who will be 3 on Sunday. Her fur is all the way to the floor and I groom her myself, as far as very minor trimming.

I have a grooming appointment for her on Friday and I'm looking for pics or suggestions on what to do. Specifically, hybrid cuts somewhere between the long show coat and a short cut. Daisy's fur is very thick and we're having too much trouble brushing underneath. Plus her beautiful face is just buried in all that fur. She's a big girl, 8 pounds, and a little overweight, just like her momma :-)

I included a couple pics, saved as attachments. She's a little unbrushed this morning. Any ideas or suggestions? Or am I crazy and should just have it thinned out on the belly and underneath?
