The yard string is exactly what I covered my dog run with. As I said, this covering is high enough for an adult human to walk under. When I was researching, I learned that birds of prey always dive in a straight line down to their victim and then straight back up again. The yard string is enough of a deterrent to them.

I am so glad this thread was started because you are so right, more of our babies will be saved by people learning of the necessary precautions.
