You go girl! Especially after all he's been through (and you) , he doesn't need a change right now. I'd think that the coordinator would be real, real, understanding or I'd take it right to the superintendent of schools and up. That is not good for any child having gone through so much right now.

My sympaties with for all you troubles. Best wishes for better times soon.
