| You go girl! Especially after all he's been through (and you) , he doesn't need a change right now. I'd think that the coordinator would be real, real, understanding or I'd take it right to the superintendent of schools and up. That is not good for any child having gone through so much right now. My sympaties with for all you troubles. Best wishes for better times soon. |

| Sheila, I'm so sorry for all the troubles you are having. You have gotten some really good advice from everyone. I would try to be as calm & nice as I could be (that would be really hard for me when it comes to my kids) & explain all the changes your son has gone through lately. I don't understand why they didn't inform you first. That has to be a good argument there.

| I feel really good right now. I got Ethan back in his regular school. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. She was very nice which made me feel bad because, I was nice but I don't think I was as nice as I needed to be and I appologized to her. She said that was fine she totally understood. So mission accomplished now I can get try to get back to some type of normal life. The reason he was transferred was because of the class size was too big, but they lost 3 students last year and than the other one that was transferred with Ethan this year. Anyway I just couldn't take the chance on what it might do to him emotionally to be in a different school than the one he had been in since he was 4, and my son is very self sufficient they rarely have to do anything to help him in any tasks. But there are 6 or 7 students in his class and his teacher and 2 para pros. They do a wonderful job. So now I'm happy. I told my husband that I was going to do whatever it took to keep him there and I did. My husband is just too laid back. Of course I'm sure with my son dying a couple of weeks ago and still going through that did not help at all. Anyway thanks everyone for the support. Sheila |
