I found regular masking tape work the best, just rigid enough to make the ear stand up and yet light enough so that the dog is not bothered by it. I put the tape on both sides of the ear, inside and out and I make sure the tape sticks to each other at the end of the ears and it stays like that quite nice and it's not easy for the dog to take them off.
