I have heard this on owls suppose to keep birds away, rabbitts,ect! Probaly covers hawks, too!
The thing I did here about using plastic owls- they need to be moved 1-2 times a week! The pest get use to them in 1 spot-move it again-it freaks them out again for a while! So moving once a week, would have to be done!
