I don't understand how people can think it's about competition
Honestly, it makes me think that the people that feel that way are only out for money themselves. Reputable breeders aren't in it for the money...there usually isn't any to be made, or if there is it isn't much. I'm not saying reputable breeders won't ever make a profit because it's possible but reputable breeders don't purposely breed for profit. It's about love of the breed and the dogs...why else do it?

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
