Ohhhh, it would hurt ME too much to do it myself. It hurt me to watch the vet. LOL. But, they just used a big pair of scissors, dropped novacane on it after cutting and put 2 little stitches in. They touched the dew claws with silver nitrate after taking them off - again with big scissors. No bleeding at all.
