My positives for the day... my youngest is home from college.
Yeah, I miss her! She's growing up so nicely in college!
And...
At the athletic shoe store, she found a pair of $110 exclusive shoes on the clearance rack marked $19.99. Of course there was an issue and they said that they must have been marked wrong. I was so nice to the girl and told her that she really needed to sell those to me since they were marked that way and they couldn't determine why they thought that was wrong, but that I'd personally help her go through the boxes to pull the rest of them before someone else found them. We finally got them for $19.99 with no scene and her ending up apologizing to me. (I am a firm believer in not taking advantage of a situation, but the store marked them and no one knew what the problem was.)
My daughter said, "Don't worry mom, I was taking notes on how you handled that so nicely!"
