She probably seems hungry all the time because she wasn't being fed well enough before you got her. I wouldn't limit her food or change to another, just she probably would benefit from vitamins, too. You do need a separate area for whelping and to use as a nursery. Try not to get too far ahead of yourself at this point. Mom's health and nutrition are your most immediate concerns. I really feel inadequate to answer all your questions but do your research and many of them will be answered by going that route.
