I know exactly how you are feeling. I also live with my mom (my boyfriend and I both do, I graduated in May and he's still in school, but we both moved up from Tenn.) and I got Lucy when I moved home, my mom already has 2 yorkies. And I find that she yells at Lucy for barking when her dogs are instigating it, it's really frustrating, but I try to explain to my mom what i'm doing and everytime she does something for example yells at Lucy I just remind her that that's not that way we are training her. And it seems to have worked. So maybe your parents just need some time to understand that the methods really do work.
Maybe while you are gone, you can put her in a crate. We have Lucy's crate in our finished basement near my bedroom and she goes in there at night and when we are gone. She really enjoys her time in her crate, it's her safe place. Maybe if you got one for your room, your Belle could stay in there when you aren't home and won't be sneaking off and having accidents.
