I am educated. I am caring and compassionate and hurt because of what I know. I adopted a rescue Chihuahua. I don't have a lot of money to contribute or spend at auctions and am not physically able to go out and hunt down puppy mills. I am not able to take in more rescues. I do pay attention to legislation and have written my congressmen and asked them to do something about puppy mills. What can we do from day to day besides educate people as much as we can and not patronize stores that sell dogs and cats? I have written letters to the editor and have information on my web site. I talk and speak out. I have donated money and helped find homes for rescued animals. I don't see any need to go to every site and read all the sad things and see all the videos. I already know!
