You are right. Like PA there are Amish areas which are filled with puppymills and unfortunately the state itself is labled a puppymill state. In PA it is illegal to hold dog auctions and the Amish travel across to Ohio monthly to auction dogs at the Columbus Flea Market which is owned by an Amish man. It always makes me scratch my head - Amish are supposed to be God Fearing Religious People yet they treat animals as they do. Clean barns I'm surprised about - most live in HORRIBLE CONDITIONS.
