i noticed some breeders really do it right. they thoroughly screen by asking the right questions..
Well are you going to screen your potential buyers? You seem so adamant about the fact that your dogs won't end up in animal shelters, how can you be assured of this? Will you make it a rule to your purchasers that if they cannot keep the dog, then you'll take it back and give them their money back? What are going to be your policies Will you provide health guarantees? If so, what will they entail?

In regards to making money, some breeders are lucky if they break even after having a litter and selling the pups. There are all sorts of tests, procedures etc that ethical breeders undertake both before and after the birth of the pups. There can be unforseen circumstances, such as expensive c-sections, emergency vet visits etc. These can cost a lot of money.

If breeders are in it purely for the money, then I would be concerned that all the necessary care hasn't been taken as it would take a large chunk out of the profits.
