You quoted me and you made yourself out to be the next Mother Theresa because you want to sell your dog in pairs. With all do respect "you have got to be smoking something." A reputable breeder is breeding for the better of the breed. Again, I'll ask what are you breeding for? Let me answer. Because in your own words "people want the designer dog and you have a waiting list." It's all about money and how much you can make while the market for these dogs is hot.

You mention unwanted dogs but do you realize that with a mix breed there is NO ASSURANCE as to what this pup will look like as an adult. At least with a pure bred you have a pretty fair chance that the pup you bought will look like you think it will based on what an adult Yorkie, or Golden or whatever breed you are buying. Then you have your mixed breed who was walking down the street with their owner and you have someone see it and ask what breed it is and that person is told "Oh it's a mix of Maltese and Yorkie - they call them Morkies" Now that person goes home and decides "hey that's what I want." They go and they buy that pup that they think will look JUST like the one they fell in love with. That pup grows up to look totally different then the one they saw and like it or not SOME people WILL turn that dog in because it was not what they expected AND THAT MAKES PEOPLE LIKE YOU IRRIESPONSIBLE BREEDERS.
