The FDA can't even take care of us let alone puppymill inspections. They don't have the man power to do this and truthfully I don't think it's a priority for them. Government chooses to ignore this. If anything it needs to go state by state. Contacting state legislators in your state and keep bringing it to their attention over and over. IMO the word "politics" says it all and I think you know what I mean by that. Sad to say but look at our country and the state it is in. Laws need to be changed but it's along road to hoe. It needs to start at the state level and educating people about the horrors of mills. Everyone I come in contact with who is willing to listen I give them an earful. Our little yorkie came from a mill with over four hundred dogs, I can't even go there in my mind. I look at him every day and am so grateful we adopted him.
