What are you using to keep her in your room, I find that a baby gate works wonders this way they can see out and that takes away some of the curiosity and I can step over it. Maybe you and your parents can compromise on the discipline, (I too am an avid ceaser fan) Say they can tell her bad girl but not to swat her but, as far as the barking goes, explain to them that most dogs and people as well tune out when others yell at them after a while all you hear is blah blah blah blah blah.....what works great is distraction I choose to use a coffee can with a few coins in it the noise distracts them right a way, and after a while they get the point.
