Designer Dogs, to me is a term just as bad as teacup. Their not "designed" at all, just 2 dogs that have mated (just how you get any other puppy) so I really don't understand where the term even comes in! From what I have seen, just as in teacups, "breeders" will call them "designer dogs" just to charge a lot for them and make a pretty good penny to keep for themselves. Also, if someone is looking for a pet quality mixed breed, they should definitely check out the shelter first! There are so many babies that are on deathrow that could be adopted out to families, but when people purposely mix breeds, that puts all of those dogs in the shelter one step closer to being euthanized.

Mixed breeds also can't be registered, so you should maybe double check your sources.
