Nobella,

Coco is such a high energy little girl I know she will be back to her old self in no time. I would not worry too much if they keep her one night at the vets. Bruce has had procedures before that have required him overnight and it has always been a good experience, they make sure he is okay and I try to distract myself. Not the most fun but it works. I would maybe call in sick or something if you feel she is not doing well enough to leave her on Monday. If not perhaps I would ask your roomate and a couple other friends to check on her during their lunchbreaks, and you do the same. Offer to leave them a nice lunch at your house, I am sure they would do it!!!

To sew up a onsie will be easy, no machine necessary (although then it would be even easier). Split the sides on the seam from the bottom of the arm mark the fabric to the desired length and width cut it leaving 1/4-1/2 inch to sew on and sew it up a basic slip stitch will do if you really do not know what you are doing, but try to stitch as close together and as evenly as possible. On the bottom sew on a strip of velcro in place of where the snaps used to be unless you want to add new snaps or reattach snap peices. Put it on her feel where her tail is and make a small hole. If you really do not think you can do a good job let me know, I could whip something out and fedex or something.
