I am so happy for you! It isn't the amount that you got, to me anyway, but the fact that the owner had to face up and admit to wrong doing!!! WTG!!!!! The petstore Pepper came from ended up giving me back my money because he unlawfully took him from the hospital (after he had paid a LOT in medical bills because he had the contract with the vets office....I had them run all kinds of tests on Pepper) and I told him I was calling the police because he had stolen my dog, I also told the vet's office I was going to press charges because they knowingly gave the store owner a dog they knew did not belong to him! Of course we ended up going back and buying Pepper again a few days later but that wasn't the point either! I am kind of sorry the judge didn't have a chance to hear the case but I am so glad you didn't have to fight for it either. |
