Perhaps I misunderstood her posts, but my understanding from all her posts was that she has been doing research, will have a mentor there, and was just double-checking to get people's ideas on some things. I sometimes do this myself on various things--ask even though I already have/know the answer. Because no matter what I think I know, there are always different ideas or experiences to consider.
