court went well....
before we see the judge both parties have to view all of each others paperwork that they are going to show the judge.. when we went outside to do that the owner of the store saw all our stuff and he said okay we don't have to go any further, i'll give you the money owed. so, when it came time to see the judge we told him we had come to an agreement and that was it! so we won!! i didn't get much i only sued for what the puppy lemon law states that i am owed, but atleast i can pay off her medical bills now! the judge said he had never dealt with this kind of case, so unfortunately he didn't get the chance to gain some knowledge, i was looking forward to seeing how he handled it... so yeah, everyhting went in our favor and all was calm.
.. you know, i don't think many pet store dog owners know about this law, the puppy lemon law, i know alot of states don't have this but CA does, and i personally didn't know until someone on YT informed me about it. any suggestions on some ways to help get the word out.. maybe that would be a step in helping the hurt dogs and owners of pet stores. and also help the pet stores realize there will be some repricusions (SP) of selling sick dogs. i know my seller didn't expect me to take him to court. i was thinking of making some flyers and posting them at the veteranarians offices in my neighborhood. there are ALOT of puppy selling pet stores in my neighborhood. what do you think?
