My private insurance is high, but even if I got a job w/ insurance- I canot drop mine- I would never even be able to be covered again- i HAVE TO KEEP THIS INSURANCE- NO MATTER WHAT THEY CHARGE ME!!
I would be scared to drop it even if the USA got national Health coverage
Your state doesnt have low income assistance for medical? Thats crazy!

Anyways, I know what you mean about getting private insurance, I have 'pre-existing' conditions too, luckily I work at a hospital and thru them I have insurance.
