That IS a new one...I bet it would work though! Probably would have the same effect as vaseline-it would keep the air from circulating around it, and make it come to a head.
Cabbage does have something in it that acts like a drawing salve...a friend of mine just had a baby, and she opted not to breastfeed, and the nurses told her to put cabbage leaves in her bra to draw the milk out and to help dry her up quickly.
