Roxi had her surgery a week ago today, and she has been back to normal now since wednesday... she scared me at first cause she was really groggy and jumpy and shakey... once I stopped giving her the meds she improved dramatically.. I took her back to the vet because her behavior really scared me and they gave me a topical ointment to calm how itchy she was... after I started applying the cream she got even better! she also had a little razor burn from where they shaved her, which only added to the irritation.
I would defenetly suggest you take her off the meds. by day four she shouldn't be in any pain, just maybe irritated cause it itches! When I took Roxi on day three my vet said she shouldn't be feeling any more pain to justify pain meds!!
