I know everyone is different, what works for one won't work for another....He tried the pens but he didn't like them, he said he would put the pen in and hold it for a count of ten and remove it and EVERY time he removed the pen it always had insulin dripping on the needle....he would get so frustrated because he didn't know it that was some units that where supposed to have went in him, he also likes the flexibility Levemir allows him on his eating scedule....
Yea, i noticed that right off the bat! I think the pen allows for that- but, I am taking 35 in Am- so I just dial up 37- I was on 40, so... But the 37 makes sure I get the 35unit(lantus) Novolog- 5u befor a meal- but I only eat one meal a day! then I have a 5 unit correction dose! I have been to 2 different endocrinologist- 2 dieticians, and 2 diabetic educations classes!
I took 5 shots yesterday- ate only once! Now what is up with that!
I hate to eat anymore-know my suger is going sky high! So I just don't eat, very often- it still goes high??
