When I first started showing, the breeder told me to color my girl so I did and at the show the next day I must have done a great job because she yelled out loud yes everyone looked and looked and I was terribly embarassed, she yelled out loud she looks so much darker than I remember. Yep the same person that told me to do it then did that to me and it was her breeding I was trying to show to win and I was showing against her that day. But anyways the girl didn't like to show and would not walk when in the ring so it didn't matter
I don't like the dying the hair etc. It makes it hard when you are looking for a stud or a line to add to your program and you don't know for sure if that is indeed the true color of the dog or not.
It is a jungle out there LOL
