My mom's get's very high also, sometimes not even readable on the meter. Are you on prednison or any new meds? Mom has been on prednison for at least 5 yr's and that is what caused her to end up being a diabetic. She will probably be on prednison for the rest of her life.
I hope you get this figuered out soon and get to feeling better.
