That's too funny - your tiny daughter in the big ole tuba (she's a DOLL by the way) and your son (not sure if he's big or not) playing the little bitty flute. What a wonderful mixed up group you got there.
I think music is so great for all kids. I went to a very small school and we didn't have anyone to teach geometry so I was not able to take it. Yes, that's right I graduated high school without taking geometry - BUT we had a great music teacher.
Even though I really didn't have a musical bone in my body, I had music everyday from 1-12th grade. I learned how to read music, play the piano, clarinet and sing.
