They are just trying to set up an account with you. Your email will be like your log in name and your password is ONLY for their site. They don't need your e-mail password. You're fine. And I don't think it violates Ebay's rules, your just signing up to keep track of your orders from them. Its probably how they keep track of their orders, in a database.
