Mari, I will say this about marking...my mom's maltese marked like crazy, inside her house for years. Because of that, at age 7 she finally had him neutered. He's never done it since. My male schnauzer has never marked inside the house but marks like crazy outside. He has killed some of my landscaping. But yorkies are so tiny that even if he did mark outside it wouldn't hurt anything.

My husband says that if we decide on a male, he wants to name him TURBO! I said "I already know a yorkie named Turbo!"
