Apollo had one that grew back and it was so close to his skin, so when he was neuterd i had it taken off, he was on pain meds for 5 days , and it did not seem to bother him. I was afraid it would grow into his skin or torn off. My Daughters dog tore one off and i know she was in alot of pain.
