I bought a new laptop with a 80gb hard drive and a 1 gb of memory..it was running fine. Then when I added the new corel software it slowed up some. My friend who is an IT techie told me that Vista needs optimally at least 3gb of memory to run nice and smooth. So I just upgraded the memory and put in 4gb for about $80 on my own. Very simple and easy to do.

Patrick is right the 110gb is good but it's the hard drive. The computer uses the memory which is usually 1 gb and up as a scratch pad. It is the temporary holder. So although you have the large hard drive you need more of a scratch pad (memory) to keep the temporary files your working on. Make sense...the hard drive stores all the programs but the memory is what keeps the speed going depending on what your working on.

Go to the manufacturer of the camera and get the updated drivers. It's free and fast.
