I think I would feel the same way as you do. I don't like the idea of pulling teeth but in the case of your baby what else can you do? The cost to have them cleaned every six months not to mention the fact they need to be put under to do it would make me think pulling them is the only answer. I wouldn't want to risk having my dogs put under every six months as there could be problems. I also know how it is to have one that will not allow you to brush their teeth. I have teddy and I have brushed his teeth since I got him at 10 wks old. He fights it more and more all the time. He will soon be three and I only brush his teeth once a month as he gets so upset.
Maybe someone else has a better suggestion. |

I didn't know about ANY of these issues when I got Kiwi. The rescue says they didn't know about anything (except the teeth, and that's really no big deal) but she started having HORRIBLE seizures 2 wks after I got her, but she's all better now...sweetest dog I'll probably ever own
I agree too...is it worth risking her life every 6 months to get her teeth cleaned that she doesn't use ?? This is precisely why I'm in this dilemna....
