| our 3 girls have run of the house here where are Most of the time,, but we do lots of weekends back home,(Louisiana),, generally we make the trip home without a potty break for them,(4 hour trip) ,but have puppy pads in the truck floorboard they use if needed,, but just doesnt generally happen,, but as SOON as we get home,, unlock the door and put em down inside,, its RUN to one of pads in the house,, even if its a month or months before we go home next, they know just where to get to,,in Louisiana we're still just putting down paper puppy pads as we're there so much less often,, here in Texas, we're using the washable pads now without the paper pads on top,, (which is what i did for weeks until they knew for sure,, yeah, ,USE THIS),,so,, 3 Yorkies,, age 27 months,, 18 monhts and 22 weeks,, all have no problem,, using washable pad here ,, paper pads in several locations at the house in Louisiana or paper pads in the truck while riding,, as well as always taking paper pads with us if we visit anyone with the girls,, i think we may be lucky on this,, but we just dont have a problem. and i'm a really picky person about dogs potty habits! |
